Today has been a very exciting day! We got to the airport early, and everything went smoothly as we checked in our luggage. We had some time to explore the airport before finally boarding the plane. It was quite a long trip, but we made the most of it—playing games and getting to know each other better. At one point, we could see the green fields of Ireland through the windows, along with cows and sheep!

After landing, we collected our bags and met Michael, who drove us to Carrigallen, where our host families were waiting for us. What a moment! We also met the coordinators, Janine and Keeley, who are here to help us with everything during our stay.

We’re especially happy that we don’t have school tomorrow, so we get to spend the whole day with our new families. Saturday is just around the corner, and we’ll meet again at the school for our first class and excursion. That’s when we’ll share our first impressions—every family is different, and we’re excited to hear each other’s experiences.

We hope you enjoy the photos we’ll post on Saturday. For now, here’s a glimpse of our very first day!
