We are a bit sad but at the same time very excited to inform you that this is the last post of the blog.
It has been 9 weeks full of adventures, where our students have enjoyed and learned a lot from this experience. Now it is time to pack our bags, but we didn’t want to leave without telling you about our last and probably favorite excursion.
This Saturday we went to Emerald Park: an amusement park of more than 22 hectares in Kilbrew, which has a range of attractions for all ages, including a playground and smaller play areas, a maze, a “5D cinema”, zip lining, and arts and crafts, magic shows, and face painting. There is also a circus tent.
We rode on everything, and naturally, The Cú Chulainn Coaster was the first; it is a 36m tall wooden roller coaster. We also really enjoyed The Viking Voyage; a log flume that contains 1.7 million liters of water. We saved this ride for last, and it was a good decision because we ended up soaked.
We were very tired from running up and down the park, but it was a very nice way to say goodbye to Ireland.
Now it is time for us to enjoy the last few days here, say goodbye to all the friends we have made and our host families.
It has been a unique experience!!!
See you on Wednesday at the airport.
