Good morning!

Here we are again on another Monday. There’s less than a week left until our English exam, and the nerves are running high!!!

This Saturday, we met with Father PJ Hughes. We started with a couple of prayers, and then the girls went to confession.

Later, Sarah arrived, and they had a great English class. This time, we took advantage of the situation and extended the class a bit longer, as it’s the last one, so we could review all the concepts.

In this past seven weeks, girls have been working very hard!
They have practiced a variety of questions that they could be asked in both their oral and written exam. They also have learned how to write a letter, a book review, and how to discuss a studied news article.

In their oral, they will present a project that they have created themselves about a hobby and they will also discuss the article or a book that they have read in the past few weeks.

Sarah has listened to them individually and has corrected many of their practice exam questions. There has been an definite improvement in their language skills!!!

We just spent the day in Carrigallen; we went to buy an ice cream, some students took the opportunity to send their letters at the post office, and we took a walk by the lake… Laia even caught a fish!

We are all very happy here, but the truth is that we are already looking forward to see you again!
